Fimo is the new Suralin from back in the day. I think you can make really nice things with it.
I have the silicone molds and Fimo here, but I just haven’t had a chance to try it out yet.

Maybe someday, once we’ve finished moving.

Yes, I like this material. You can knead or shape things out of it and then bake them in the oven. Once baked, they’re really hard and can be painted. You can use it to make beautiful jewelry. However, it’s worth mentioning that you always have to store it in an airtight container; otherwise, it becomes rock-hard and you won’t be able to knead it back into a soft state.

It’s a great material—30 years ago, I made lots of brooches with it. I kept making them until all my relatives and friends had been given one... that was a long time ago ;-)
