A denim jacket for fall...

...it’s finished except for the bottom hem; I’ll do that tomorrow, I’ve had enough for today. I digitized the little roses back when I had my 750e (my first embroidery machine)
—they were originally embroidery designs in an issue of Anna
magazine. I wanted them tone-on-tone on the jacket, so I stitched them with a
color gradient. For the lining I used summer sweatshirting from Tedox;
the denim was also from Tedox

Dear Inge, that jacket is sure to look great on you. I especially like the embroidered roses with the color gradient. They really add that special touch to the jacket. And they’re so timeless—I could imagine them as little eye-catchers on lots of different items.

Thanks, everyone! It’s finally all done—I just finished the hem a little while ago. I finished the hem with ribbing, so I can wear it starting tomorrow when my youngest granddaughter (11) comes to stay with us for a few days of vacation and we plan to go on an outing.
