My 1st major project in March. Because the first one was so well received, I designed another chess set that is completely different. It’s not difficult to crochet, but some parts are a bit fiddly because they are so small.

I’m kicking off March with a quick-to-crochet poncho that’s also suitable for beginners. I crocheted it using 8-ply sock yarn from Opal, because Opal’s color combinations are simply fantastic and the yarn really isn’t just for socks.

I’ve just made a cute little, versatile Easter basket for you—it can be used as a general Easter decoration, as a table decoration for Easter brunch, or even as a nice little gift to bring along to Easter gatherings.

The basket is made from cardstock, measures approximately 11.5 x 11.5 x 6 cm, and has room for two Easter eggs. Templates are available here.

And after Easter, you’ll surely have other celebrations, big and small—for your gifts, I’ve just created a beautiful spring-themed gift bag.


This gift bag is also made from cardstock, measures approximately 19 x 22.5 x 9 cm, and is very easy to make. Templates for it are available here.

My lightweight sneaker socks are quick and easy to knit. Since they aren’t very thick, they’re ideal for the couch, as bed socks, or for cooler summer evenings—to slip on when you’re sitting outside and your feet get cold.
