 How is it possible that when you buy patterns from multiple sellers, you have to transfer a single total amount to an account in Latvia, even though they’re different sellers? That’s strange!

The transfer goes to Latvia because Crazypatterns is based there. Crazypatterns handles payments and downloads (technology, servers, and programmers) for the authors in exchange for a commission—a share of the sales price. This isn’t just convenient for the authors, since they don’t have to worry about sending the patterns by email after receiving payment. It’s also more convenient for you, since you only have to make one bank transfer and can then shop as long as the money lasts, instead of making a separate transfer for each vendor.
If you’d like to get to know Crazypatterns first, you can of course start with a bank transfer of 10 euros. We want our customers to be satisfied.
