What do you expect from a purchased pattern?

Dear users, dear authors,
when you buy a pattern, what absolutely has to be included? When would you write a bad review? What needs to be there for you to leave a good review?

Would anyone else like to add anything?

Since I’m not only an author but also a buyer of patterns, I can say the following from my own experience:

For amigurumi patterns (but also for decorations, etc.), I find photos to be very important. You can usually crochet or knit if you buy the right pattern, but especially with sewing-on projects, I appreciate it when the patterns explain exactly HOW to sew it on so that it looks just like the promotional photo afterward :-)

For clothing and scarves, I personally think material specifications are important. I also appreciate alternative yarn suggestions, since everyone has a different budget ;-)
Especially for clothing, sizes should be listed individually whenever possible. I find that very convenient.
