CE Marking for Baby Blankets

Hi everyone,

I’ve crocheted a few baby blankets, and now I’m thinking about whether I should start selling them.
(Of course, with a business registration :) )
Now I’ve come across the CE marking. On the one hand, I’ve read that it isn’t necessary for baby blankets, but on the other hand, I’ve also read that it is. Could any of you possibly help me out here?
Of course, I don’t want to make any mistakes in this regard.

Hi Christina,

If I remember correctly, blankets only require CE marking if they feature faces or elements that encourage play.
If it’s a simple
blanket, it only needs textile labeling.
If you’re on Facebook, there’s a special group on the topic where you can find all the information you need.
Take my info with a grain of salt, since I don’t know if anything has changed.
