Small, light, and uncomplicated—that’s what the ideal craft project for on the go should be. Here are a few suggestions from me for you. I’ve made all of them myself on the regional train—so they’ve truly been tested by me in real life. I was often approached, too, and real expert conversations developed. I think I got quite a few fellow travelers interested in handicrafts.
I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.
Warm regards from Ina
Mosaic Blanket Made of Squares
For this beautiful blanket, you have to crochet lots of identical squares, which works wonderfully on the train or in a waiting room. At the end, they are crocheted together to make a blanket.
Featherlight Cowl
It’s called “Featherlight” because, of course, it is light as a feather. One cowl weighs only 50 or 75 g. I call it relaxation knitting, because we just knit around in circles and don’t have to follow a pattern.
Poncho for Dolls in Different Variations
A small crochet project that is very uncomplicated. Ideal for in between times or on the go. It doesn’t take up much space either. In the end, you’ll have made a few lovely doll clothes almost on the side.
