I’m completely booked... Dinner with relatives tonight, shopping with my sister tomorrow morning (and then maybe a trip to the playground with the kids :)) and the day after tomorrow, “celebrating” my dad’s birthday after the fact (meaning going out to eat with just our closest family). 

Everyone in our family has either recovered or been fully vaccinated, and things are finally getting back to normal! 

Weather permitting, I’ll do some gardening tomorrow and keep knitting on my shawl; on Sunday, I’ll bake a cheesecake—my husband asked for one since he’ll be turning 60 on Monday, which we’ll celebrate on a very small scale.

Lots of sun, little or—better yet—no rain... we’d love to make hay......
Today I’m tidying up my sewing room—sorting through things, throwing stuff away, making room for new things......

We’re still packing boxes here. This time it’s my glass cabinet’s turn. Hope we get a lot done, since we both have the weekend off.

That also means sleeping in and enjoying a leisurely, full breakfast with all the trimmings for a change. No stress—I get enough of that at work.

I now have a total of 4 days off, which I really needed after that stressful job. I “fought” for them, so to speak, and went on strike. I managed to get the time off. After all, I’m the oldest among our colleagues.
