Musical MugRugs

I sat down again today and digitized two instruments: an accordion and a trumpet. My middle daughter has been playing the accordion since she was a little girl, and her boyfriend plays the trumpet. I made two mug rugs out of them, and now they’re on their way to my daughter. They’re a birthday present—I’ll give them to my oldest daughter tomorrow morning; she lives just around the corner. If she’s sending her sister’s gift by mail, she should pack these in too, since my package has already been on its way since yesterday. :-) It just occurred to me today :-)) that I could make something like this.

So these are mug rugs?

Mugs or glasses—whatever you prefer. My daughter was very happy when she unwrapped the mug rugs last Saturday, since the two of them were sent along as an extra birthday gift. My daughter plays the accordion and her partner plays the trumpet, which is why I chose these designs.

If you put cups on them, there might be stains on the mug rugs, and that would be a shame for the beautiful embroidery.
