At my first wedding, I had a long dress made of satin silk, very plain and simple, with a veil as long as the dress was. I don’t have any pictures of it anymore, because one of my daughters took the album with her after I divorced her father.
For my 2nd wedding, I sewed myself a suit made of light blue jacquard; I’m happy to show it to you. This May it was 31 years ago.

At my first wedding, I wore a Dederon dress (does anyone else remember that?) with a hat and a veil covering my face.
At my second wedding, I wore a dress from a department store (we don’t want to advertise). I was glad I’d found one, since I’d gained a little weight.

is Dederon still a thing today? I had to look it up on Google. I’d never heard of it before. Is it comfortable against the skin?
