Gobelin embroidery

Dear users, dear authors,
what is tapestry embroidery, and what is it used for?

Gobelin embroidery is done using half-cross-stitch. Important: Don’t knot the threads on the back, because that will show through later.
You can use it to make things like pictures, pillows, table runners, etc. I usually
buy ready-made kits that come with pre-printed fabric, thread, and a picture frame.

You’ve been really busy.

I used to embroider some of those myself. They were sold as complete kits. It’s also important that it looks nice from the back—so every stitch should always go in the same direction.

Unfortunately, I don’t have mine anymore.
