Patterns

The patterns are so long that my printer cartridges always run out quickly. Too bad—it gets too expensive for me in the long run. But otherwise, great stuff.

You can’t generalize like that.
In my patterns, I generally include so-called “print versions,” which require very little printing—in particular, the detailed photos aren’t included in this version to save on printing costs (ink/paper).
And that’s the case for many of the colleagues here as well.

You can’t generalize like that—it depends on the pattern. I also have some that are only two pages long.

Or, for longer patterns, I put the detailed photos at the end; you don’t necessarily have to print those out.

You can also choose which pages you want to print. For example, you can print just the knitting charts and then read the instructions on your smartphone, tablet, or PC.
