Spring at home

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, I have to bring spring home little by little, since the weather here is gray, foggy, and gloomy.
But... I went on my first bike ride outside yesterday; the sun came out briefly, but it was very windy.
I envy you guys—it’s almost 20° in Germany. Here, I still need a thick jacket. I’ve had enough of this. There’s even still some snow on the ground.
Send a little warmth our way to Norway.

Have a relaxing weekend, everyone. Don’t forget about the time change—set your clocks forward one hour. Another hour of crafting time has been stolen from us😕

Dear Andrea, I’m sending you a little warmth, too. Today we had cake in the garden for the first time. It was really nice. But maybe it’ll cheer you up to know that the weekend isn’t looking so great here either. Rain and only 12 degrees again are in the forecast. Spring won’t really get going until next week.

I’m sure spring will come to your area too. I also picked up some tulips and daffodils. At least that makes the apartment feel like spring.

That’s really sweet of all of you. I’m going to soak up every ray of sunshine and never let it go. Then I’ll wait until it gets warmer outside and let all those rays of sunshine go free—that’ll make me feel good. :-))

Andrea, do you know the picture book “Frederick” by Leo Lionni? The little mouse also caught rays of sunshine and then warmed his family with sunny stories during the winter… My kids loved the book just as much as I did!
So, I can share a few rays of sunshine today, too, but I’ll hold back the wind—it’s still pretty chilly.
