This colorful spring meadow is simply perfect for Easter breakfast—and for using up colorful leftover cotton yarn. All the pieces are easy to crochet. The spring meadow features many different egg cups, egg cozies, placemats, coasters, and flower decorations that can also be hung up.

Egg cozies are a great project for using up leftover yarn. I have several designs that are perfect for Easter.
All you need is the right yarn, a crochet hook, and a love of crocheting.

For Easter breakfast, a pretty table runner in fresh spring colors decorates the table. It is crocheted in filet technique (just chain stitches and double crochet. You’ll need about 150 g of cotton yarn (yardage 125 m / 50 g) in one color and about another 25 g for the edging. I crocheted it with a 2.0 mm crochet hook. The runner will then measure about 34 cm x 100 cm.
Here is the crochet pattern for the Easter table runner!

Even if you don’t like boiled eggs, you can use these cute egg cozies as table decorations. You can crochet them from just a few leftover yarn scraps.

And finally, a little decoration that you can also crochet from leftover yarn and use in all kinds of different ways:

Are you already planning your Easter visits and thinking about little gifts to bring along? How about this pretty egg holder for your decorated Easter egg?

This egg holder is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 14.5 x 19 cm. It’s so easy to make that you can craft several holders in different color combinations and give them to all your loved ones.

How about putting a little Easter celebration on the plate for every family member or guest at the breakfast table this Easter? It could contain, for example, a breakfast egg or something sweet. Add a pretty napkin, and it’ll look great.

This little bag is actually part of an Advent calendar. But you can, of course, use it to create one—whether for Easter, Christmas, or a birthday: little surprises are presented beautifully here.

Or you could simply decorate a pretty little basket on the table with a few Easter treats. Either give everyone their own basket or place one in the center of the table.

Small round basket with a sturdy bottom and handle

If you prefer a cleaner-lined design, you might like this one better. You can crochet it with or without a handle and hide all sorts of Easter treats inside or use it for decoration.

I hope you enjoy everything and have a wonderful Easter holiday.
Warm regards from Ina
