When crocheting hand puppets, you can combine lots of different materials. Here, for example, is the “Royal Family” value set:
Cotton yarn (e.g., Catania, 125 m / 50 g) is used as the basic material for the head and hands. Mohair yarn (princess), teddy yarn (king), or curly doll hair yarn (prince) works well for the hair. Fine velour yarn was used for the clothing (prince, king), or cotton yarn with glitter thread (princess). And of course the crowns are crocheted with silver and gold glitter yarn.
Take a look in your leftover yarn box right away and see what you can use for your hand puppets! There are no limits to your creativity!
