Dear Josefa, I wish you and all readers a wonderful weekend, too. It doesn’t really feel like spring here right now—it’s snowing and raining. But oh well—we have plenty of yarn, and spring will come anyway.

Well, dear Josefa, spring just isn’t quite here yet. We’re looking ahead with some trepidation to the coming frosty nights and the cool to cold days: This year we’d love to harvest a few apricots again (last year: zero!), but whether the blossoms will survive the frost… At least the sun is shining right now, though it’s not really warming us up, and the meteorologists have promised us a proper “Bise” for tomorrow—that unpleasant, biting north wind!

Spring doesn’t seem to be in sight just yet; in any case, it snowed quite a bit here this morning, and the temperatures aren’t exactly pleasant either. It’s supposed to stay that way over the weekend—hmm, more time for knitting, crocheting.......

I hope you all have a lovely, warm weekend.
Here, it’s snowing nonstop and it’s freezing. On Sunday night, temperatures are expected to drop to minus 6 degrees.
And to make matters worse, we’ve been without heat since yesterday evening. They can’t seem to find the problem.
So this is anything but spring fever....
