A gift for Men’s Day? That’s not so easy. But I do have a few suggestions for your loved ones. You’ll find more pictures, information, and the pattern by clicking on the headings.

Felted Boots with a Roll Collar
Men usually like gray, anthracite, brown, or blue felted shoes. So nothing too colorful. You can make them in all sizes. They keep feet warm, are very comfortable, and don’t absorb odors. The felted shoe is knitted and felted in the washing machine. The roll collar is knitted separately and sewn on.
Felt Soles / Insoles
My husband is an angler and therefore needs warm insoles in his fishing boots. But you can also put them in rubber boots, winter boots, or clogs. The felt acts like a buffer between the cold ground below and a warm foot. And it makes each step feel soft, too. So if you have felt wool left over from knitting felted shoes, you can use it to make warming insoles.
Cowl
Yes, men sometimes need something around their necks too: a scarf or a cowl. But then only something very soft and preferably in an understated color ... all based on my own experience :-)
