How are you kicking off March? What do you hope to accomplish in March?

Dear users, dear authors,
how are you kicking off the new month? What are you working on in March?

It was my granddaughter’s birthday last month and she got a bike.
I brought my little doll Lilly for her sister.
Then in the evening, there were lots of tears...
Lena would sooooo love to have a Lilly too...
But an even prettier one, with red hair and a little purple dress.
So that’s what I’ll start working on tonight :)

I’d like to finish my shawl (shadow knitting) and then start my outdoor cat tree project. Instead of yarn and crochet or knitting needles, I’ll be using a saw and screws. If I can finalize a design and find a suitable tree trunk, I’ll be happy :-).

I’m currently trying my hand at an oval/semicircular shawl. I’m not sure yet how the shape and yarn will work together, but the journey is the destination. 

I’m still working on my C2C baby blanket with a pattern. But it’s already come a long way and will definitely be finished this month. . 

In March, I’d like to crochet a few summer tops… And what I really, really hope is that I’ll finally finish all the UFOs lying around here… Actually, they’re not really UFOs—they’re finished pieces that I still need to write up… I always procrastinate a bit before writing and would rather start something new… That has to stop! Best wishes

Petra, I know that dilemma. The first test piece is so much more fun than actually writing up the pattern. I’ve got a few of those on hold, too, because the next idea didn’t have time to wait. 

Well, I can definitely relate to the unfinished patterns. I definitely want to whittle those down in March.

Other than that, I still have quite a bit of knitting to do. There are a few skeins of unwanted yarn waiting to be crocheted into animal nests—for the wildlife feeding stations.

I’m also designing new patterns. So there’s plenty to do.

March is my favorite month—it’s my birthday month. :)
