Faulty Patterns

Hello,
why do errors keep appearing in paid patterns?   
Sometimes there are as many as 4 errors, and that really doesn't have to happen.
Aren't these proofread before they are offered for sale?
Well, I correct them myself then, but that's not really the point.

You can point out errors in the pattern’s comment section, and then they’ll be corrected.

Or you could contact the designer directly. For example, I always have my patterns tested several times, but even so, an error can sometimes slip through, and I’m always grateful when someone points it out to me (though, fortunately, that’s never been necessary so far).
I think other designers feel the same way.

Oh yes, I agree with Michaela. Please, please let me know!

My patterns go through several rounds of proofreading and are test-crocheted multiple times. Even so, an error can sometimes slip through. It’s rare, but it has happened.
That’s why I’m always very grateful when people point out mistakes to me. I’ll correct them as quickly as possible and make the new version available across all channels.

I’ve also found mistakes in purchased books, novels, etc. It’s not ideal, but it can happen.
Fortunately, with downloads, it’s easy to update them quickly, and customers can receive an improved version just as quickly—free of charge, of course.

To make this happen, though, it’s necessary to bring it to the author’s attention. The fastest way to do this is via email (if known) or here using the messaging feature.
