Binding Off: Any Tips and Tricks?

I bind off with a crochet hook—it’s easier for me that way

Yes, that’s exactly how I do it, too. I just discovered it recently in a video on “elastic bind off.” It’s really interesting, especially for cuffs. You can easily find it on YouTube by searching for “elastic bind off.”

This creates a nice, loose bind-off edge:

Knit 2 stitches together, slip the knitted stitch back onto the left needle, and knit 2 stitches together again. Continue this way until all stitches have been bound off. For the last stitch, cut the yarn, pull it through, and weave in the end.
Don’t work too tightly!

I do it the same way as HMScreativ, but I knit the two stitches together through the back loop.

How do you knit through the back loop?

I do it that way too, and it’s awesome… it looks great and stays stretchy.
