Hello everyone,

I've been here for 4 days now and am gradually filling my shop.
I came across this site by chance (an ad on Facebook). Before that, I always thought crazypattern was a "single person" ;).
After muddling my way through things here a bit, I have to say I really like this option of having a platform for selling patterns. Setting up and managing the items is easy, and the support, as far as I can tell, is good too.
What I couldn't see right away: is there a feature for categories in the shop? But that's not important for me yet, since I don't have that many different items YET .
So, now I'm hoping for a successful time on Crazypatterns - I've already had my first sales.

ich’m not a seller and I don’t create patterns. I like to crochet every now and then and enjoy talking about it. What I like here is that you always have access to the patterns you’ve purchased. I also like that there are free patterns. Plus, you can review and comment on the patterns, and there’s a blog and a forum here. I’ve also noticed for some time now that more and more people are active here. You can see that in the forum (new faces) and also on the blog (new posts). You can also tell that more and more new patterns are being added every day. I suspect that the site is currently growing, and I feel very much at home here.

about halfway down, you’ll find instructions on how to sort patterns into different categories
and you can then click on the categories in the navigation when you want to browse patterns that have already been uploaded
so, right at the top of the shop there’s always that bar where you can choose whether you want knitting, crochet, sewing, crafts, or something else

@ Muetzekatze: I’m not referring to how items are categorized on crazypatterns, but to a navigation bar in my own shop. If you have a lot of patterns in different categories—for example, appliqués, baby shoes, children’s clothing, etc.—it’s easier for customers to search for them in the shop.
But, as I already wrote, you would need to have a great many patterns in your shop for that.

Everyone ends up here by chance. I think I found it through Google, but I’m not entirely sure anymore how it happened. However, I like it here. Free and paid items for every taste—you can get everything cheaper and often get more, too. And of course, you can start crafting right away while you’re still excited, instead of having to wait 2–3 days for the patterns to arrive by email. By the way, I made a little discovery today that surprised me a bit. @orimono, what do you think?

So, the way I understand it, you shouldn’t list items here at a higher price than on other platforms.
If you list items cheaper on crazypatterns—for whatever reason—that seems to be okay.
