We have snow here and it’s cold. Perfect for walks in nature. I’m looking forward to spending lots of time knitting. That always makes me feel good.

We still have snow here, but it’s freezing cold—I think it’s supposed to get down to -11 degrees. It’s cloudy, so I’ll probably just lounge on the couch and do some crocheting or something—we’ll see what I feel like doing.
My husband will surely keep working on his model train layout.
I think it’s nice when both partners have a hobby.
If the sun does end up coming out, then of course we’ll go for a walk.

Yeah, actually, first things first—time to shovel the snow...
then refill all the bird feeders and do some bird counting this weekend... for NaBU
... tidying up never hurts either... and there are only 23 episodes left in the new Netflix series...!

I’ve got a robin here that loves to perch on my Budda. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to take a picture of it yet.

I’m going for a walk, too—otherwise I’d never get out of the house. And I’m knitting. And staying out of my family’s way. The mood isn’t great right now. My husband’s on short-time work and in a bad mood, and my daughter’s stressed about her high school graduation exams.
And yesterday I had a phone call with a coworker that really brought me down. My coworkers aren’t following the hygiene guidelines and are sitting close together while drinking coffee. And now, of all times, they want me to come into the office for a few hours at a time instead of working from home. :-(

There’s no snow, but it’s gotten very cold. My fabric arrived yesterday—I’m planning to make a pair of pajamas. I don’t like long pajama bottoms—for me, they can go down to the knees at most; anything longer would be too warm for me—and the sleeves should never be longer than my elbows. That’s the great thing about sewing for myself: I can make it exactly the way that suits me best and that I like, and I don’t have to settle for whatever ready-to-wear options are available.
