I’d like to crochet a Staffordshire Terrier, but I haven’t found the right pattern yet.

Unfortunately, I can’t think of anywhere off the top of my head where you could find it....

There are so many dog crochet patterns here—maybe there’s one that’ll work. I’ve definitely seen some terriers already.

Helma, I have an idea. Try doing it the way Wollefaden suggested. Type “crocheting dogs” into the search bar. You’ll find a lot of very lifelike examples.

You could then get in touch with some of the creators and ask if they’d be willing to crochet your dog and write a pattern for it. New ideas are always in demand. Why not try this one? I think you might get lucky.

The dog belongs to my niece, but I often take care of him.
What difference does it make who the dog belongs to?

The question is whether you have the rights to the photo. We have to be careful about things like that here.
If it’s your niece’s dog, then using the photo should be fine.
