Pattern

I’ve been crocheting for quite a while now. Now I’d like to crochet a stuffed animal. I downloaded a crochet pattern for a moose. But I don’t quite understand the pattern. I have 42 stitches, and the next round says I should decrease every 13th and 14th stitch so that I end up with 39 stitches. I don’t understand that. Can anyone help me?

Hi Melanie,
in this round you need to make 3 decreases, which means crocheting 2 stitches together 3 times: the 13th and 14th stitches of the round, the 27th and 28th stitches of the round, and the 41st and 42nd stitches of the round. Then you’ll have 39 stitches.
