So today I sewed another doll, but this time using a different pattern than yesterday’s Pippa. Both patterns have their strengths and weaknesses, but today’s is still easier to work with, in my opinion.

What do you call the doll’s outfit?

It’s a “Jumper”—according to the pattern description, you can sew it from jersey or cotton fabric. I found a website that has doll clothes for 40-cm dolls, because I don’t always feel like designing things for the dolls myself.  I’ve set aside the doll I’m currently working on for now, because the head is giving me a bit of a headache ;-)—it’s either too small, too big, or shaped like an egg; I don’t like any of them. So I’m putting it aside for now and doing something else, then I’ll come back to it with a fresh perspective.
Right now, my embroidery machine is chugging away at a window picture in a 130mm x 180mm hoop.
