These pictures were taken in mid-December, when I went to Oslo to pick up my Julegave (Christmas gift) from the hotel—brace yourselves, it was a scratch-off ticket

Monika, no, I didn’t win anything. The ticket cost the equivalent of less than 3 euros. It was a total waste. I would have been happier with some candy.

Dear Andrea, the trip to Oslo was the better gift. That way, you got to enjoy looking at the Christmas decorations. The scratch-off ticket was, so to speak, a bonus. It could have even been the grand prize!
