Long blouse...

with a geisha—I sewed this blouse for my grandson’s First Communion and then embroidered the geisha onto it. This design is permanently programmed into my embroidery machine.
I then sewed the blouse again in dark blue for one of my daughters, and she wanted the crane from the embroidery machine on it.

Wow

The machine takes almost 4 hours to embroider the geisha, Josefa—it really takes time, patience, and countless color changes, so it’s not something you can just whip up quickly in between other things. It takes about 90 minutes to embroider the crane.

That’s what you call arts and crafts. :-)
