Satisfied with November 2020? Did working through the patterns go well?

how was your November? Are you doing well? How did it go with the patterns in November? Please remember the pattern review.

Does anyone else want to add anything?

My November was a good month. Right now, I’m learning double-faced knitting using a pattern by a-mano. I just printed it out and am really looking forward to it. Of course, I’ll leave a review once I’m done. It looks really good already—she explained it so well.

November was okay for me, all in all.

I’m currently working on a Secret Santa gift—it’s also being knitted using the double-face technique.

By the way, I’ve known this knitting technique for over 25 years, maybe even longer.
It just went by a different name back then.

November was a great month for me: lots of new ideas and, luckily, plenty of time to try things out and experiment... I love it... crocheting is my great passion... In November, I also often dreamed up one or two patterns beforehand... how convenient... then all I have to do is crochet the idea once I’m awake...!

Petra, you’re amazing! Dreaming up ideas ahead of time—that’s perfect. 

Dear Monica, you’re right… I’ve been practicing lucid dreaming for almost ten years… It’s also called “LUizides dreaming”—it’s a technique from dream yoga… And it’s also been successfully developed further in high diving training… You can find all the information about it on YouTube—that’s where I learned it, too… The idea is that you realize in your dream that you’re dreaming… Then you don’t wake up… And from that point on, you become the director of your dream… That means you can control your dream… As soon as I realize I’m dreaming, I immediately try to crochet and make a great shawl or something like that—it works wonderfully… Of course, the result doesn’t always make sense…But the ideas that come out of it are just sensational… For me, anyway… Why don’t you give it a try? It takes a little practice, but if you believe in it and practice it daily with some reality checks, you’ll suddenly be able to change your dreams—it’s a blast! It doesn’t work every night, but it happens more and more often… I look forward to going to bed all day long because then I’ll dream again, which is often more exciting than reality

That’s brilliant, Petra! I often know I’m dreaming while I’m dreaming, and I’m even in the same place. I’ve just never applied that to my crafts before. I’m definitely going to give that a try now—it sounds exciting. I guess we’re pretty much on the same page there. :)

November was great :-) I managed to get a little bit done again despite having a small baby. Yeah!
