Help with binding off!!

Hi everyone,

I’m currently knitting a sweater, and the pattern for the sleeve says: At a total height of 41 (42–43) cm, bind off all sts straight, knitting 2 sts together 5 times evenly spaced while doing so.

I have 51 sts on the needle. I know how to bind off and knit sts together.

Are the sleeves knitted straight, without a sleeve cap?

then maybe like this, so it’s nicely distributed. 

I would knit these stitches together: 5+6, 15+16 25+26 35+36 45+46

Or you can contact the designer directly if you bought the pattern here, and ask what she meant. 

Normally, when binding off, you knit 2 stitches and pass the first stitch over the second stitch (so you have bound off 1 stitch).
If you have 51 stitches and need to knit 2 stitches together 5 times, I would do this:

*Bind off 7 stitches as usual, then knit the next 2 stitches together, knit 1 stitch, pass the knitted-together stitch over the last stitch*
Then bind off the last stitch as usual.

That should work.
