Weekend Plans + Happy First Sunday of Advent

I wish you a wonderful weekend and a great First Sunday of Advent.

Tomorrow the last few Advent decorations will be put in place; my husband is responsible for that, and I’ve already taken care of everything else.
On Sunday, the second household is coming over to our place for coffee; everyone is healthy and has been tested for work reasons, so that should be okay :)
Otherwise, I’ll probably spend most of this weekend just relaxing, doing a little crafting. I overdid it a bit this week, which hasn’t been good for my back......I guess exercise really is murder, haha

To be honest, I don’t have any plans yet.
The house is clean and the Christmas decorations are up.
That makes me pretty happy, because last year we hardly decorated at all. That was very difficult with a baby.
Maybe I’ll go out again tomorrow and get some more decorations—somehow, it doesn’t feel like enough to me.
I want to create a Christmas wonderland at home this year. If you can’t celebrate normally anyway ;)

I also wish everyone here a lovely, cozy, and healthy Advent weekend.

I don’t have anything planned yet, but I’ll definitely keep knitting my sweater. Maybe I’ll bake some Kipferl tomorrow—it’s a new recipe I want to try. We’ve finished our gingerbread, and going without any at all—that’s just not an option.

I’d also like to wish you all a lovely and peaceful weekend and First Sunday of Advent. We don’t have anything special planned either—let’s see what comes our way :-) Maybe I’ll start baking some cookies.

If the weather is nice, we’ll go for a walk, have coffee later, and cut into our stollen.

My two grandchildren are staying with me for the weekend. Time to enjoy them..... 😍😋😋 The sun is shining outside 🌞😎, so off we go outdoors.

My youngest daughter made the Advent wreath yesterday.

So nothing stands in the way of enjoying the day and my grandchildren..... 😊

...just a quick update. I didn’t buy any decorations today.
Leo is sick... for the first time in his life.
His nose is stuffy, and he’s been crying all day because of it.
I hope he gets better soon. It’s so hard to see such a little one suffering like this 😪

We wish your Leo a speedy recovery! I'm sure he'll be lively and cheerful again tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow at the latest. With little ones, a cold comes quickly and goes quickly, too. In between, their immune system learns what kind of pathogens they are and how to eliminate them. Unfortunately, that's necessary, even though it's hard for parents to see the little ones suffer. I'm sure it will get better soon.

From me, just a quick greeting from my conservatory this evening. My favorite little Christmas tree has moved back in there and will now bring me joy over the next few weeks.
