I knitted a soul warmer a few years ago; I kept it relatively simple—I knitted a rectangle, then joined the sleeves and knitted a border.

Let me show you something: pretty jackets for dolls. Maybe this is something for your daughters or granddaughters. The doll clothes are quick to make and would even still fit in a St. Nicholas boot.

The size can be easily adjusted because it is knitted sideways.
