do you have any tips for using or handling an embroidery hoop?

For example, as a *picture frame*, like I did with my embroidered pictures

I once hand-embroidered the patchwork piece during rehab; an embroidery hoop is helpful for all these kinds of projects


I hand-embroidered the birth picture back then for the birth of my youngest granddaughter
for embroidery, which is what it’s actually made for—that is, hand embroidery—that’s what I did before I got my embroidery machine, mainly embroidering tablecloths.
