How are you kicking off November?

Dear users, dear authors,
how are you kicking off November?

I’m currently embroidering a polar bear lantern for my granddaughter for St. Nicholas Day—she loves polar bears. Yesterday I embroidered a tree or window ornament.

My November starts with gauge and calculations for two new sweaters and a poncho jacket :-)
I love that moment when everything’s figured out, I get to cast on, and the actual knitting begins!!

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I’m also back to designing a new sweater for my granddaughter. And since I want to knit it using RVO, that means doing some math again... I’m really looking forward to getting started on it.

On the side, I’m continuing to work on my UFO—the sweater for myself.

I finally want to finish a UFO that’s at least 3 years old. It’s a scarf in two-color brioche stitch—it was an on-the-go project, but that way it never gets finished. So now it’s priority number one.

I’m working through my leftover yarn. I’ve crocheted a few more squares.

• Mending—Junior brought a jacket... The zipper’s broken...  
• Mending various pairs of pants belonging to my husband and Junior—to see if they’re all still “mendable”?
• Embroidery—I still have an order
• Then those buttons for the knitted jackets... they’re really weighing on me

With the same blanket I’ve been starting and ending the last few months with 😅

Man, I’ll be so glad when that’s finally done.
