How do you crochet a triangular shawl using this pattern?

Hello dear community,
I’d like to crochet a triangular shawl in the pattern shown in the pictures, but I don’t know how to approach it—I’m not very experienced with crocheting yet. Maybe one of you has an idea of how I can create this pattern.

Could it maybe just be double crochets and chain stitches, and does it all look so airy because it’s crocheted with a large hook and a fluffy yarn?

In the bottom picture with the crochet hook, I think I can see this: double crochet, chain stitch, double crochet. A relatively thick crochet hook and a thin yarn.
