I don’t understand the pattern anymore😭

Hi,
I’d like to crochet a husky—I’ve already made quite a bit of progress, but I’ve had to take a longer break for personal reasons. I’ve finished 2 of the 4 paws, but I’m having trouble understanding the pattern for the 3rd one right now. Maybe someone here can explain what is meant.
* 2 hst, 2 hst together*, repeat 6 times, 18 sc (36)

I understand the 2 half double crochets, but what comes next?

Hi Tammy,

that probably means “crochet 2 half double crochets together,” which decreases one stitch. It would match the total number of stitches given.

I’m not sure if you still need help.
So I understand it like this:
2 half double crochets, then crochet 2 half double crochets together
Repeat both of these 6 times
After that, you should have 18 stitches left until the end, which you crochet as single crochets. Good luck
