Amigurumi: Embroider or Paint?

Hi everyone :)

I have a little problem. I’m in the process of crocheting little teddy bears in jerseys for a handball team. Of course, the little jerseys need to have the club name, the kids’ initials, and their jersey numbers on them—anything less would be too easy.

I usually embroider small details like mouths and eyebrows, but these jerseys are a bit too much for me.

Does anyone have experience painting on these details with fabric markers (which ones have you used)? Would you recommend it?

Well, I drew the name on a face mask with a marker. I had to let it dry for 24 hours, and then it’s supposed to be wash-safe (though I haven’t washed it yet).

I can imagine that if there are a lot of teddy bears, drawing the details probably won’t take that long. But I’d still embroider the mouth and eyes.
