Zigzag Pattern / Houndstooth Pattern

would you like to share something about the zigzag pattern or the houndstooth pattern?

The zigzag pattern in crochet is really nice. Once you’ve got the hang of it, nothing can go wrong. Row by row, you always crochet a few stitches together in the same spot and increase in another spot. Over time, the increased stitches form a point because their number keeps growing and they push the others to the side. And where you consistently decrease, the stitches are essentially pulled together. This creates the typical zigzag pattern. You can crochet it using only single crochet stitches, double crochet stitches, or even other stitch sequences.
