Sewing pattern and sewing instructions for a pair of potholders with a cute little elf gnome motif.
The little elf gnome watches you while you bake Christmas cookies and helps take them out of the oven ;) With practical hand pockets, so the potholders can also be used as oven mitts!

Crochet pattern for a blanket - started in the middle, this blanket can easily be adjusted to your desired size. The pattern is worked over 2 rounds and requires knowledge of single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

A lovely project for the weekend, because you can also easily crochet with leftover yarn in different colors and single skeins here.

Knitting pattern for a cowl - a nice pattern for men, too

Knitted with knit and purl stitches on circular needles, this design is also suitable for beginners.

Scarf Shawl Tania
a lightweight accessory for the transitional season

-- to the pattern --

The Tania scarf shawl is easy to make and combines the advantages of a scarf and a shawl in one accessory.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes in detail how you can crochet this scarf shawl yourself—even as an ambitious beginner with good basic skills. For advanced crocheters, there is also a crochet chart.

The shawl shown is 220 cm long and approx. 25 cm high. It can easily be adjusted in length and width.
A 4-ply gradient cake, 150 g (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic - yardage approx. 190 m/50 g), was used.

This weekend, Oktoberfest would have started in Munich. Unfortunately, it has to be canceled this year. But you still don't have to miss out on a few Munich souvenirs, because you can crochet them yourself!

First, there is the  Münchner Kindl:

Munich's heraldic figure wears a black-and-yellow monk's robe and here has a filled beer stein and a large pretzel in its hands. You can remove the top part of the figure and fill it with a little surprise:

So this Münchner Kindl is perfect not only as decoration, but also as gift packaging.

TheOktoberfest keychain

consists of 3 "Schmankerl," treats that Oktoberfest is famous for: a liter of beer, a gingerbread heart, and a pretzel. You can embroider the gingerbread heart however you like. With a few bits of leftover yarn, you can quickly crochet this great keychain.

You’ll find the same treats again in the Oktoberfest crochet appliqués:

You’ll also get the patterns for a small traditional hat, a pair of lederhosen, and an edelweiss. With the appliqués, you can decorate bags, belts, and clothing. You can use them as fridge magnets, table confetti, or gift tags.

So, now I wish you lots of fun with your crochet Oktoberfest! It’s best to download the patterns right away!

Loujain Triangle Shawl

The Loujain triangle shawl is for everyone who really wants to snuggle up in a shawl. It is quite easy to make, because it consists only of double crochet and chain stitches. A border made of slip stitches finishes it off.

The TreppenCowl is a great weekend project; it can be knitted with either sock yarn or gradient yarn.
Since it is knitted using only knit and purl stitches, there really is no front or back side.

Here’s the pattern

If you suddenly feel like crafting on the weekend, the question is always whether you have enough yarn, and the right yarn. That’s why I’m suggesting 3 projects here that you’re sure to find something suitable for in your yarn stash, and they’re fun too.

I wish you a lovely weekend. Enjoy the sunshine and the crafts.

Best wishes from Ina

PS. Oh yes, you know ... you’ll find more pictures, info, and the pattern when you click on the headings.

Christmas calendar
You need lots of colorful leftovers and crochet 24 pockets. You can decorate, fill, and arrange them later. You can make them for the children, grandchildren, or a friend. And after Christmas they’re also great for all kinds of little surprises that you can give away in them.

Poncho in various versions

You can crochet it very easily from a few grams of sock yarn. It’s a lot of fun, and you definitely won’t stop at just one. That way you can dress the whole doll crowd in new outfits.

Universal cowl
You can knit it in three sizes: for the kids, for you, for a friend, or for your husband. For the child size you only need 100 g; for all the others, 150 g. So maybe you still have 3 balls of yarn just waiting to become a cowl for the coming fall.

If you happen to have two large sheets of cardstock in red and green, you can start your Christmas preparations right away: My new explosion box includes two drawer boxes for small gifts and a tea light holder card that you can personalize with your own message.

The box is made of cardstock and patterned paper and measures approximately 10 x 10 x 10 cm; the two drawer boxes each measure approximately 9.8 x 5 x 9.5 cm; and the tea light holder card measures approximately 9.8 x 9.8 cm. With a little crafting experience, the box is very easy and quick to recreate.

How about using up leftover yarn on the weekend? For our children or grandchildren, this is a lovely gift idea.
St. Nicholas Day and Christmas are getting closer and closer.

Even if it may not look like it at the moment, fall and winter are just around the corner, and then it will be hat season again. Babies and toddlers really don’t like having something pulled over their heads. Still, a balaclava-style hat like this is ideal, because nothing slips out of place and the neck stays warm at the same time.

Here is the solution. This hat is very easy to knit, and thanks to the buttons it’s also very comfortable to put on and take off.

To the knitting pattern

Do you have leftovers of slightly thicker sock yarn? Then a winter set like this for babies is just the thing. Here you can also try out the ideally simple mowi heel on the little socks. Plus a neck warmer that can’t slip, a hat, and mittens.
