Hardworking little helpers: How are things going with you?

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
what are you working on today?

Things have been going better again for the past few days. I’ve started a beautiful shawl, and the pattern repeats over 6 rows. The rows are getting longer and longer, but with 6 rows, you can quickly see how it’s growing. It’s a bobble yarn, so of course I’m eagerly awaiting every knot. 

....going really great right now....

My sleepwalker is almost finished, just the arms and a bit of decoration left....
Okay, the sleeve for my jacket has had a little break for now 😇
And because it's raining so nicely again today and I can't mow the lawn, I finally have time to saw the tablets for my tablet-weaving loom.... and then hopefully I can finally warp it and start weaving.... 
Sometimes rain is just wonderful....

I really love knitting shawls with relatively short pattern repeats. Do you knit in “blocks” too? Like, pick up your knitting and then do 6 rows in one go? Or with coffee and cookies on the side, it can even turn into 2 blocks sometimes 😇

Could be better! Yesterday I only managed to cast on some wrist warmers, a birthday gift, and work a few rounds of ribbing. Today I really should finally finish the two comfort blankets, but with this gorgeous late-summer weather, the weeds in the garden will probably take priority…

I caught a really bad cold during those cold nights—I had the windows open both in the back and the front and was lying in the draft, but I didn’t realize it until the next day.

Steffi: Both. I try to finish a block before I go to bed, just to wrap up the day. During the day, I reward myself with two rows if I’ve been diligent and have done a little housework.
