Upcycling Egg Cartons / Reusing Egg Cartons

What do you do with your egg cartons? Do you have any upcycling ideas?

Hi Josefa,

since we have 5 chickens that lay beautiful, colorful eggs (brown, white, green) and we sometimes give them away, I decorated some egg cartons with napkin patterns years ago. I did it just for fun because I really liked the napkin pattern and thought it was a good fit. I painted the carton with light yellow acrylic paint first so the pattern would stand out better.

Other than that, I don’t make anything else out of the egg cartons. In the spring, we sometimes use them to start seeds for the garden. Maybe others here will share more ideas for reusing them.
