Weekend plans? How are you all doing?

have a great weekend, everyone.
What are your plans?

As always, we’re taking it very easy—Göga is laying the tiles in our hallway and is almost done, and I’m working on my hexagons, which now need to be basted.

Hi everyone,

I’m not feeling so great right now. There’s really no reason, but everything’s getting on my nerves.
On Wednesday, Anton said he’d like to go visit Grandma and Grandpa… luckily, my parents are spontaneous, so he can go tomorrow.
We’ll see what we do tomorrow. Shopping, going out to eat, and relaxing. I have to work on Sunday.  In the evening, an old friend (my dance partner when I was 16) is picking me up, and we’re going out for burgers.

I hope the weekend does me some good and helps me calm down. 

Hi Sandra, yes, there are always times like that. I’m glad your parents can take Anton off your hands for a while. I hope you’ll be able to switch off and feel better again soon. 

Sandra, I have days like that every now and then too. Enjoy the time without Anton and do something nice.

I’m going to a garden and flea market with a friend today. Let’s see what it’s like in coronavirus times. I can always go home if it gets too crowded for me. But it’s spread out over a large site, and I’m looking forward to it.

Tomorrow we’ve reserved a table at a restaurant. We’re going out for chanterelles. Absolutely delicious.

Sandra, it’s okay to feel that way sometimes—I’m sure we’ve all been there. I, too, have been feeling a bit annoyed more often lately. I hope you get to relax and enjoy some time for yourself and your hobbies during your kid-free time.

Yesterday, we took a walk in the park in Bad Füssing with our guests in the most beautiful summer weather. There are gorgeous blooms to admire there—we really enjoyed it. Afterward, we were invited over to some friends’ place nearby for coffee and cake. It was a great day.

Today it’s rainy and relatively cool, so I’m planning to do a little tidying up and some knitting.
