Washing Decorative Items / Stuffed Animals

How do you wash your decorations / stuffed animals?

Of course, decorations are washed when necessary. For example, if you have a table runner and someone spills something on it, then it gets washed. Hand-wash in the sink with warm water; do not use fabric softener or spin-dry. Instead, roll it up in a microfiber towel and squeeze out the moisture—do not wring it out—and let it dry flat. Some items may need to be stretched back into shape afterward.

But there are also decorations—such as crocheted pillows filled with washable craft stuffing—that I put in a laundry bag and toss into the washing machine. It’s really simple.
