Weekend :-) What are you doing this weekend?

Dear users, dear authors,
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. What are your plans?

Lazing around and not moving. We're supposed to get over 35°C again, and the best thing to do then is nothing. 

Maybe go to the stream and dangle my feet in. Otherwise, really just read, knit, or crochet in the shade on the terrace. 

Yesterday I started crocheting a seat pad from an old duvet cover. I'd like to keep working on that.

Petra: That seat pad idea is really fun. Are you tearing up the duvet cover, and what size hook are you using? 

I’m not doing much today. We were at the playground a little while ago... now Anton is taking a nap and I’m crocheting in the basement... it’s cool in there. 

I have to work tomorrow

Yeah, it’s cotton and tears really easily. With a size 6 needle, it’s very tight. That’s probably why I already have a blister 😂

I wanted to bake today—but I took the margarine out of the freezer too late.
So I’ll do it tomorrow.
I found a vegan cheesecake recipe online. I want to give that a try.

Other than that, I’ll move as little as possible and drink as much water as I can.

In the shade—that is, indoors—beating the heat and crocheting endless rows of double crochets on my CAL shawl…
At least this morning we went to church on the farm; it was nice and cool in the barn, and we were able to enjoy our coffee afterward in the shade, too.

Hello, dear community :)
I’m new here, but I’m looking forward to getting to know you all. I’m at home right now, trying to escape the heat. Temperatures over 30 degrees are just too much for me. I recently started embroidering a towel for my confirmation sponsor and am almost done. Maybe I’ll manage to finish embroidering the outlines today ;)
