What are your plans?

Oh, here in Ireland the weather is unfortunately a bit dreary. So I’ll probably spend a lot of time with yarn and wool — and keeping the house lively with my little guy (21 months). Best wishes

I’m going to enjoy the garden in temperatures over 30 degrees—with my knitting needles and yarn, of course. Plus, some homemade ice cream and delicious salads.

We’re enjoying our day off—the sun is supposed to shine with temperatures up to 26 degrees, which is plenty. By our standards, that’s nice and warm.
In any case, I’m going to sit out on the patio and see if I’ll do some crocheting or glue on some more little stones.

Today is our national holiday. Since the official celebration was canceled due to COVID-19—and there’s no festival food stand to staff—I’m able to enjoy the day at home for the first time in many years. I want to bake some muffins using a new recipe, make apple preserves from the apples on my neighbor’s tree, and, of course, work on my crochet shawl. Maybe I’ll also rip out my toe-up socks up to the heel, since they don’t fit the way I’d like them to. It’s still completely up in the air what the weather will be like—there’s a chance of thunderstorms.

I won’t be doing much this hot weekend, because the heat always really takes a toll on my health. Things tend to move a bit slower for my husband and me when it’s this hot.
I do have a few cut-out pieces lying around waiting to be sewn together—we’ll see how I feel this afternoon, since the temperature here is supposed to climb as high as 35°.

My—early—wedding anniversary gift arrived today. A W6 3300 Exclusive. I’ll be putting it through its paces over the weekend. ^^ It’ll probably be too hot for much more than that.
