Hello to all you creative folks,

...I’ve been a member for three months now, but I haven’t gotten around to introducing myself here on the forum yet.
My day job involves repairing and restoring decayed teeth :-)...which means I’m a dentist with my own practice. But since, unfortunately, the end result is “just” a tooth, and my profession—despite my best efforts—still tends to have a rather negative connotation, I’ve always pursued creative activities as a way to balance things out, primarily drawing and creating illustrations.... For the past 5 years, crocheting has taken more and more center stage, even though I’ve been able to crochet since I was a child. Now I design amigurumi under the registered brand “WollLolli.” We also make custom wooden crochet hooks. I discovered Crazy Patterns through a friend who also publishes here. So far, I’m really, really enjoying it here, and I still have lots of little animals waiting to be written up and move in here.

oh, a dentist. ;-)))
I’ve seen and admired your crochet hooks many times. When I get back from vacation, I’ll reach out to you, because I’d love to have one of those too. It’s just not worth it right before my vacation, since I’m not allowed to take metal hooks on the plane.

So, my husband makes the hook. I mainly advise him on the shapes, because my real passion is more wool than wood :-)))
