Weekend Plans: The weekend is here :-)

Dear users, dear authors,
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Tomorrow we’re driving to visit friends in Austria—it’s been a while—and we’re really looking forward to it. They have a gorgeous garden, which we’ll of course explore thoroughly and take plenty of photos of. Knitting is also on the agenda again—on Sunday in our garden.

We had a visit from our godchild, and after a lovely breakfast, they headed home.
This afternoon we’re picking up our grandson—he’s supposed to stay overnight with us. It’ll be interesting. Ever since the pandemic, he’s been very attached to his parents, so we’ll see if he stays or if he’d rather be picked up later tonight.

Right now, I’m sitting in the garden crocheting.

My vacation ends on Monday, and I actually wanted to do some work in the garden, but it keeps drizzling here, so I did some ironing and am about to get my knitting out. If at all possible, we’ll have a barbecue tonight.

We had a cozy evening watching TV today.
Things are slowly picking up again at the hotel too, which means going to bed early—I have to work tomorrow.

We got back yesterday from a little trip to the Baltic Sea (Pöhl Island). It was nice, but already very crowded everywhere.
