Dear users, dear authors,
June is over. It’s time for the awards ceremony.

You can read up on the June projects again via the link.
June Projects 2020: The Crazypatterns Craft Group (No Advertising )

Info about the final sprint / June awards ceremony:

How is it done?
Copy the section  between the asterisks in the post below into your text field / reply field, fill it out, or delete what doesn’t apply to you.

When will the June awards ceremony take place?
Around July 2/3, 2020. All participants will be entered. No one will go offline without a title.

I’m “only” a user here, not an author on Crazypatterns. Can I still take part in the awards ceremony?
All users and all authors can join in. Everyone who writes a post here in the thread will be included in the awards ceremony.

June title awards: Everyone receives at least one honorary title.
If any of you had many offline / everyday-life challenges in June 2020, this can be recognized, at the request of the respective user / author, with a fitting honorary title / extra bonus points. If necessary, I’ll come up with a suitable title.

Earn extra points / bonus points and improve your own karma: Here’s how it’s done.
- For your own uploaded photos / images, there are of course extra bonus karma points as always. Please do not upload third-party images / images+photos that do not belong to you / images+photos from somewhere on the internet. These will be deleted.
- Finished handmade items that are given to dear people as gifts or donated will, of course, always earn you extra karma points / bonus points, to appropriately recognize the time / effort / energy required for them.
--> Please provide the relevant details here in this thread.
- Feedback for the Crazypatterns authors ( e.g. in the form of reviews, comments, etc. ) is always rewarded with extra points.
--> Please write down details if applicable.

Template to copy in the post directly below.

Busy little helper in June
I was pretty productive in June:
- Embroidered two bath towels as gifts, made and digitized the embroidery motifs myself
- embroidered a baby bib and sewed in the neckline, made from a small cloth
New things learned in June
The raglan on the baby sweater.
It turned out very well, so I knitted two right away. It’s also a beautiful pattern, and I sewed pants to go with them

Unfortunately I can’t spin at the moment (tendonitis in my foot), and I don’t have any spun wool left, otherwise an alpaca baby blanket would also be finished, or almost finished.

Details:

[x ] I have already started crafting the décor / gifts / clothing for summer / fall / Christmas.
Details: I’m currently working on a shawl for the fall.

My daughter asked for a summery color for her daughter.
The pink socks will be a birthday gift for the second daughter, and my sister will get the watermelon sponge.
The bookmark has already been given away, as has the sponge yarn heart (pictured).

Of course, it should read: a summer color for her bag…

[x ] I didn’t buy any yarn in June and therefore rightfully earned the title of Yarn Emperor/Empress for June.
[x ] I’ve been taking part in the yarn diet since January 1, 2020, and will
either diet for one month, a full quarter, half a year, or
a full year, thereby earning the title or titles
Yarn Empress/Quarter Empress/Half-Year Empress/Wool Mountain Conqueror
for myself.
[ x] I am and will remain brave, meet the respective requirements ( disinfecting, washing my hands thoroughly, keeping social distance,
staying home, wearing masks, etc. ), won’t lose heart, and
hope for the best.

Stay brave even during the coronavirus pandemic: become the Perseverance King/Queen
[ x ] I am and will stay brave, meet the respective requirements (disinfecting, washing hands thoroughly, keeping social distance, staying home, wearing masks, etc.), do not lose my courage, and hope for the best.

Shopping Queen in June
[ x ] In June, I only bought urgently needed yarn. Details:

I bought yarn for a birthday wish for a soccer fan in team colors - it’s not really a favorite project for me, but what won’t you do for people you like...

Busy Little Helper in June
[ x ] I was able to finish many craft projects in June. Details:

I crocheted a plant basket from textile yarn and made pins from the leftovers.

I also designed another compartment of my crate shelf (or maxi display case...)

Our old dining table has been sanded down and freshly oiled, and a sideboard got new top panels, which I waxed.

Pattern Optimization Champion and Hero of the Authors = Author Title in June
[ x ] I completed and uploaded at least one new pattern in June.

I posted the pattern for the Stella short-sleeved sweater.
The link to the crochet pattern:  https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/62499/kurzarm-pullover-stella-haekelanleitung-fuer-kleidergroessen-36-56

[ x ] In June, I used the advertising threads / other advertising opportunities on Crazypatterns.

Rescuer of Stubborn Materials
[ x ] In June, I used up old or difficult material and am an honorable and deserving material rescuer.  Details:

I still had some old cement and grit/sand, so I shaped a few insect drinking stations from it. For the rest of the cement, I didn’t have enough regular sand left, so I mixed together and used colorful leftover decorative granules. I really like the result.

I’ve gone through everything once.
Who’s still missing?
What did I forget to mention for whom and where?

Thank you so much, Josefa! Your monthly honors are always a hit.
I especially liked the “Queen of Currants” and “Queen of Wild Animal Nests.” ;-)

Thank you so much, Josefa—I’m truly honored by all these titles! I probably won’t have much time for crafting in July, since we’ve planned a hiking vacation in the mountains. But I’ll definitely be bringing my yarn and needles along!

Josefa, I love your awards ceremony! When you write everything down, you really see just how much you’ve accomplished in a month. And the reward is your awesome titles!

Josefa, your list of titles is actually longer than mine!
It’s always fun to read your title creations.
Thanks for your creative efforts—wishing you a great July, too.

Sali Josefa
Thank you so, so much for the lovely “Queen” titles 😘.
I’m absolutely thrilled, and yes, as I wrote above, it’s only when you write down everything you’ve done that you realize you’re not “just” sitting there doing something. Something always gets accomplished—and what kinds of things!

Unfortunately, I’m still a long way from conquering the title “Brave Conqueror of Tendonitis.” The inflammation is still there and, from the looks of it, will be all summer long. I hope I’ll conquer it eventually, but not just yet. So, I’ll keep my feet still and elevate them...... 🤨

I’m always amazed by everything you all do. I also congratulate all of you on your “Queen” titles 😊
Wishing you all a wonderful July
Best wishes
Bergli

I wish you all a happy and healthy July with plenty of time for crafting.
