Well, knitting helps me with my osteoarthritis—it keeps my thumb joints supple, since I don’t have to twist my joints like I do when crocheting. Years ago, I made myself a small ball; it fits just right in my hand and is filled with granules. I knead it every now and then to prevent my hands from getting used to a stiff movement pattern.
