These three super beautiful sweaters are all absolutely suitable for watching TV. You can work on them almost on the side. But instead of watching TV, you can also do other things, such as listening to an audiobook or music, chatting with friends (right now only on speakerphone), riding the light rail, being a passenger in the car, sitting in the doctor's waiting room, or...

Except for the trim in the upper section, you can knit this sweater very comfortably in front of the TV, because it’s simply knitted straight in stockinette stitch. Only from the armhole on do you need to pay a little attention and concentrate, because that’s where the Native American-inspired pattern begins.

This makes it a varied handicraft project, and the result is an extraordinary sweater.

To knit it, you will need:

• 400 g cotton in curry (Mayflower Junior Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g)
• 100 g cotton in olive (Mayflower Rainbow Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g
• 50 g cotton in red (Mayflower Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g)
• 50 g cotton in turquoise (Mayflower Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g)
• 50 g cotton in dark blue (Mayflower Cotton 8, 170 m / 50 g)
• 2.5 mm knitting needles
• 3.5 mm knitting needles
• colorful beads with holes that are not too small (2–4 strands of yarn should fit through)

The sweater can be knitted in sizes 36–44. The individual details for the different sizes are marked with different colors. In addition to a pattern diagram, the pattern also includes measurements and a gauge, so you can also knit the sweater with thicker or thinner yarn.

This cute striped jacket made from bobble cotton for one- to two-year-olds is perfect for knitting while watching TV. It has no seams and is also suitable for beginners with some knitting experience.

To the Knitting Pattern

This collar scarf made from sock yarn is cozy, soft, and warm. It’s also perfect for those who don’t like their scarves too high around the neck, since the front buttons allow you to fold it up into a collar. It also makes a great gift.

The pattern for this crocheted blanket consists of two rounds. You should be familiar with single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet. It’s a great way to use up leftover yarn. 



You can whip up a dishcloth, potholder, or coaster while watching TV. The pattern consists of just one row and is easy to crochet. It’s also ideal for using up leftover cotton yarn.

Crochet a flower here and there, and you’ll have a sea of flowers for your table. 

Individual flowers are crocheted and attached to the ones already made in the final round.

The “Good Mood” Scarf can be knitted using either a yarn cake or 300g of yarn with a yardage of 400m per 100g.
The pattern is written out row by row and also presented as a chart, and it’s absolutely beginner-friendly and perfect for knitting while watching TV.
