Dear users, dear authors,
where is the feasibility limit for multiple double crochets? Quadruple, quintuple, or even further?

For me, the feasibility limit is already at treble crochet.
From double treble crochet and beyond, I don’t think the stitch pattern looks as nice anymore. If you like it “airy,” that’s fine. I just don’t really like crocheting them.

Well, my limit so far has also been treble crochets. I’ve never crocheted anything larger than that either.

I think Bastelfan is right—the larger the stitches, the more unstable and airy the piece becomes.

The limit for multiple treble stitches is reached, at the very latest, when no more yarn overs will fit on the crochet hook.

I rarely work with double treble crochets.
Most of the time, I stop at treble crochets.

I’m not particularly fond of double treble crochet either; the last stitch always ends up too loose. Half double crochet isn’t exactly my favorite stitch type either…
